XTEK Ltd (ASX:XTE) executive director Robert Quodling has demonstrated confidence in the company’s strategy primarily focused on delivering tailored security solutions to the government, law enforcement, military, space and commercial sectors with the purchase of shares in an on-market transaction.
Quodling acquired 17,023 direct shares on April 1 at 58 cents per share, increasing the number of securities held in that interest to 537,024 shares.
This follows the company’s directors purchasing shares earlier this month with non-executive director and chairman Uwe Boettcher purchasing 70,000 shares and non-executive director Chris Fullerton acquiring 56,521 shares.
Virolens distribution agreement
The company has recently diversified its offerings by signed an agreement with KeyOptions Pty Ltd to exclusively distribute and support Virolens in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific independent states.
The Virolens system is a COVID-19 screening device based on microscopic holographic imaging and artificial intelligence (AI) software technology.
Under the two-year agreement, XTEK will be the exclusive distributor of Virolens products, consumables, training and maintenance to end-users, third-party service providers and others who will carry out testing at sites.
