Horizon Minerals makes company secretary change as it enters growth phase

Following the completion of a new resource estimate, expected in the June quarter, mine optimisation and design work will be completed for the generation of a maiden ore reserve as part of the consolidated feasibility study.

Horizon Minerals Ltd (ASX:HRZ) has made a change to the company secretary role as the company enters a new phase of growth in its gold strategy.

Former joint company secretary Bianca Taveira has resigned from this role but remains with the company as senior administrator while chief financial officer and joint company secretary Julian Tambyrajah will assume sole responsibility for the role.

Tambyrajah is a global mining finance executive, a qualified accountant (CPA) and chartered company secretary (ACIS/AGIA) with more than 25 years of experience, including 18 years at the CFO and company secretary level.

Crake Project results

Managing director Jon Price said: “The board would like to thank Bianca for the many years’ of service and outstanding efforts in the company secretarial role and look forward to working with her in the senior administrator role as the company moves into a significant growth phase.”

Horizon’s recent drilling has demonstrated strong continuity and grade along a 600-metre strike at Crake Gold Project west of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia with bonanza grade results of up to 1-metre at 67.9 g/t gold.

This assay within 2 metres at 37.9 g/t from 13 metres is just one of a number of strong results from the infill and extension drilling program, which comprised 51 reverse circulation (RC) and three diamond holes for 5,043 metres to a maximum depth of 174 metres.

At the time, Price said these latest drilling results continued to demonstrate the potential scale and quality of Crake and the entire Binduli project area.
