Power Metal Resources PLC (LON:POW) says exploration at Molopo Farms in Botswana has confirmed the presence of nickel sulphides.
The metal was identified in three core samples containing visible sulphide grains taken from drill hole KKME 1-6.
Paul Johnson, Power Metal’s chief executive, said the confirmation of nickel sulphides at KKME 1-6 was a very positive outcome and 'adds yet more weight to the geological proposition being tested at the MFC Project'.
Assay results, continuing university mineralogical analysis of core samples and downhole geophysics data, are expected shortly, he added.
