Naturally Splendid Enterprises Ltd (CVE:NSP) (OTCMKTS:NSPDF) revealed Tuesday it had received a purchase order for another container of hulled hemp seed for clients in South Korea.
The purchase order is the fifth container shipment to South Korea since March 2020, according to the Vancouver-based company.
Naturally Splendid also told investors that the frequency of orders has increased as of late.

"The personal health benefits, as well as the sustainability and environmental benefits of plant-based foods are clearly evident and irrefutable, and consumers are gravitating towards these products for these reasons and many more,” CEO Craig Goodwin said in a statement.
“We made the strategic decision years ago to focus on nutritional plant-based products and now that consumer demand has never been greater, we are positioned better than ever with a facility that can be adapted to produce a wide range of plant-based products. We look forward to continuing providing tasty and nutritious plant-based products for this rapidly increasing market."
Naturally Splendid called itself one of the first companies to capitalize on the hemp opportunity in South Korea, having been involved since 2016. The company told shareholders that those early relationships are now “paying dividends,” with increased orders for hulled hemp seed.
“These established relationships provide an opportunity to present additional plant-based products for their consideration as well,” Naturally Splendid added.
The group operates a Safe Quality Food Level 2 certified food manufacturing facility just outside Vancouver, British Columbia, and has established numerous healthy, functional foods such as Natera Sport, Natera Hemp Foods, CHII, Elevate Me and Woods Wild Bar. Its most recent brand, Natera Plant Based Foods, is a line of plant-based meat alternatives for the rapidly growing plant-based market segment.
