IronRidge Resources Ltd (LON:IRR) announced additional high-grade drill intersections at the Zaranou project in the Ivory Coast, following the results of drilling over the Mbasso, Ehuasso and Yakassé targets.
Two of the highest-grade intercepts were reported from the Mbasso target where drill hole ZAAC1112 intercepted 4 metres at 21.4 grammes per tonne (g/t) gold and ZAAC0979 intercepted 12 metres at 6.1g/t gold.
"Ongoing results from the current drilling programme have confirmed significant mineralisation potential at the Mbasso target,” said chief executive Vincent Mascolo.
The new intersections at Mbasso have confirmed mineralisation over 2.1km of strike with up to five mineralised structures interpreted; part of the broader 8km long Mbasso-Coffee Bean-Ehuasso mineralised corridor, the company said.
