Kazia Therapeutics Ltd's (ASX:KZA) (NASDAQ:KZIA) James Garner discusses with Proactive's Andrew Scott the news it's signed a deal with Simcere to commercialise paxalisib in China. It's the second out-licensing transaction that Kazia has done in a month, following the sale of Cantrixil to Oasmia in early March. Paxalisib is a brain-penetrant inhibitor of the PI3K / Akt / mTOR pathway, which is disordered in the vast majority of patients with glioblastoma, the most common and most aggressive form of primary brain cancer.
