Destiny Pharma PLC's (LON:DEST) Neil Clarke talks to Proactive London about the positive top-line results from its Phase 2b clinical study testing its XF-73 nasal gel.
Clarke explains how the gel can prevent post-surgical infections such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
The gel achieved a 99.5% reduction in S. aureus bacterial nasal carriage, which the company said is a very effective reduction by accepted clinical measures.
He says 'this sets us on the journey to financialise phase III'.
