BlueRock Diamonds PLC (LON:BRD) sold three recently recovered gem quality stones of 8.4 carats, 10.6 carats and 9.7 carats. The stones were sold for US$88,000, US$73,000 and US$53,000 respectively.
The sgems come from the company’s Kareevlei diamond mine in the Kimberley region of South Africa.
"I am very pleased to announce the sale of the three large gem quality stones recovered in mid-March for an aggregate US$214,000,” said BlueRock executive chairman, Mike Houston.
“The sale of these three high value stones also follows the sale of a 14.8 carat stone for US$170,000 in January. I look forward to updating the market in our quarterly report, which will be released next month."
