Capital Limited (LON:CAPD) executive chairman Jamie Boyton has snapped up £146,250 worth of shares in the Africa-focused mining services company.
Boyton purchased 225,000 ordinary shares in the company on 24 March 2021 at a price of 65p apiece.
Alongside its full-year results last week, the company reported that it is experiencing some of the most positive trading conditions in its history, with demand for drilling services increasing strongly from the last quarter of 2020, building further in the first quarter of this year.
“We are highly encouraged for the year ahead given favourable operating conditions are continuing,” Boyton said at the time.
In a separate announcement today, the company also informed investors that 247,509 new common shares had been awarded to Boyton at a price of 29p per share under the group's incentive plan, representing a previously approved award with a share price value date of 19 March 2020.
Under the same award process, executive director Brian Rudd was also awarded 142,504 new common shares at the same price.
