White Rock Minerals Ltd (ASX:WRM) (OTCMKTS:WRMCF) has started its fourth field season at the Red Mountain silver-rich zinc volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) and large Last Chance Intrusion Related Gold System (IRGS) gold anomaly projects in Alaska.
The company has secured three diamond drill rigs with one already on-site while a 20-person camp is set-up in the eastern part of the large district-scale 798 square kilometre tenement package.
A 30-person camp has also been secured for the company's Last Chance and northern VMS target activities.
AEM survey planned
In addition, a 1,900-line kilometre SkyTEM airborne electromagnetics (AEM) survey over the large Last Chance gold anomaly and northern VMS targets is scheduled for the second half of April and is expected to cover around 400 square kilometres.
This will be the first application of modern technology over this area with the capability of identifying conductivity anomalies to depths of 400 metres that could fast-track a new large discovery.

Regional prospectivity
Red Mountain has a high-grade mineral resource estimate of 9.1 million tonnes at 157 g/t silver, 5.8% zinc, 2.6% lead, and 0.9 g/t gold for a 609 g/t silver equivalent grade or a 13% zinc equivalent grade.
This gives White Rock a quality advanced exploration project in an established mining district with significant potential to discover large zinc-silver-lead-gold-copper deposits - in addition to extending the known zinc-silver-lead-gold deposits at Dry Creek and West Tundra Flats.
The Red Mountain project also hosts the Last Chance gold anomaly, discovered in 2029, which covers 30 square kilometres of the highly prospective Tintina Gold Belt.
Tintina is home to giant gold deposits including Donlin Creek (45 million ounces gold), Fort Knox (13.5 million ounces gold) and Pogo (10 million ounces gold), which are all Cretaceous IRGS deposits.
