Medica Group PLC (LON:MGP) Dr. Stuart Quin speaks to Proactive London's Katie Pilbeam about expanding into the fast-growing clinical trials market with the £15.6mln acquisition of RadMD, a US-based imaging contract research organisation (iCRO).
Quin says this acquisition is 'in line with our strategy to move into other areas of telemedicine as well as to increase geographical diversity of our business'.
He says the company has 'strong parallels with our core business' with a similar type of set up to Medica with over 250 radiologists. With 'real expertise in setting up imaging for clinical trials'.
