Snowline Gold reveals details of its Tosh Gold Project in the Yukon

The 1,630-hectare Tosh property is located in an underexplored part of the same geological terrane as Newmont Corporation's Coffee Gold project

Snowline Gold Corp (CSE:SGD) (OTCMKTS:SNWGF) provided additional information on its 100%-owned Tosh Gold Project in the southwest Yukon Territory.

The company said the 1,630-hectare property is located in an under-explored part of the same geological terrane as Newmont Corporation's (NYSE:NEM) (TSE:NGT) (FRA:NMM) Coffee Gold project, as well as projects owned by White Gold Corp (TSXV:WGO) (OTCMKTS:WHGOF) (FRA:29W).

Also, assay results up to 6.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 1,146 g/t silver were obtained from rock grab samples over an area spanning 15 kilometres.

“The Tosh Project speaks to the depth of Snowline's exploration portfolio,” Snowline Gold Chief Operating Officer Scott Berdahl said in a statement.

Berdahl added: “Widespread prospecting discoveries accompanied by kilometres-scale, multi-element soil anomalies in a geological and structural setting similar to White Gold's camp attests to the Tosh Project's scale and potential. The encouraging historical results justify advanced exploration.”

Snowline Gold also noted multiple open-ended soil anomalies on the Project of at least 2.1 kilometres in length, highlighted by soil concentrations of 5.8 g/t gold and 62.1 g/t silver.

The company added that follow-up exploration at the Tosh Project will focus on delineating high priority drill targets.

Snowline Gold is a Yukon Territory-based gold exploration company exploring its flagship Einarson and Rogue gold projects that cover an area of about 64,000 hectares in the underexplored Selwyn Basin.

Snowline's projects all lie within the prolific Tintina gold province, which hosts multiple million-ounce-plus gold mines and deposits including Kinross Gold's Fort Knox gold mine in addition to Newmont Corporation's Coffee Gold project.

The company’s Tosh Project is located 20 kilometres from the paved, all-season Alaska Highway.
