Instem PLC's (LON:INS) Phil Reason catches up with Proactive London's Katie Pilbeam about acquiring US-based clinical trial technology & consulting leader D-Wise Technologies for up to US$31mln in a major step-up of its acquisition plans.
Reason says, D-Wise Technologies is 'very complementary to what we do' because they have 'a huge slice of the clinical trial statistical analysis biometrics market.
'Add that to Instem and we have discovery, pre-clinical and nonclinical development and marketing, filling the last big important gap in our coverage across whole of life sciences R&D' He says D-Wise is well known for its drive to transform the life sciences through open and flexible access to data.
