Mailbox REIT confirms plans to list on the IPSX wholesale segment next month

Mailbox REIT, a single asset real estate investment trust, said it expects its shares to be listed ‘on or around’ April 19

Mailbox REIT PLC said it will list on the wholesale segment of the International Property Securities Exchange next month.

Mailbox, a single asset real estate investment trust, said it expects its shares to be listed ‘on or around’ April 19.

It is the owner of the Mailbox in central Birmingham, a 4.8-acre office-led site that is home to tenants such as the BBC, WSP, Harvey Nichols and Advanced Business System.

Five minutes’ walk from the city centre, the Mailbox is what’s called Grade-A space, which is highly sought by companies of the ilk of AXA Arup, Goldman Sachs and the UK government as they lead the retreat from London.

Over the next three to five years, the property will be further repositioned for growth as a pre-eminent 'Live Work Play' destination.

The wholesale segment of the IPSX, the world's first regulated market for investment-grade properties, was created for institutional and professional investors rather than private shareholders.
