Futura Medical PLC's (LON:FUM) Ken James catches up with Proactive's Katie Pilbeam once again after a plethora of news updates - the latest with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on the protocol for a small confirmatory clinical study of MED3000.
Dubbed FM71, it is designed to provide supplementary efficacy data to the previously reported FM57 study with a 'least burdensome' approach and modest cost.
This study will last six months whereas FM57 (their previous study) lasted three months because the FDA want to ensure that the 'effect doesn't tail off'.
