Alta Zinc's (ASX:AZI) Geraint Harris talks to Proactive London's Katie Pilbeam about the rationale behind lodging applications for exploration licences (ELs) at two copper mining districts in Italy. Harris says despite this news, 'the focus remains front and centre' at the Gorno Zinc Project in Italy'. The ELs are for Monte Bianco, located in the Liguria region of the Northern Apennines, and Corchia which is situated in the Emilia Romagna region. Both licences are said to contain multiple high-grade copper mines that produced a significant portion of Italy’s copper and manganese up to the 1970s.
