PNX Metals Ltd (ASX:PNX) (FRA:4P1) has appointed industry veteran Craig Wilson as mining, infrastructure and studies manager and he will take a leading role in transitioning the Fountain Head gold and Hayes Creek zinc-gold-silver projects in the Northern Territory into production.
Wilson has more than 30 years of industry experience and has been engaged by the company for the past two years as a consultant.
Before joining PNX, Wilson was working as mining manager for SIMEC (previously Arrium & OneSteel) in Whyalla and had overall management responsibility for the magnetite and hematite mining operations.

PNX managing director James Fox said: “We are very happy to have Craig join the team on a permanent basis as he has a very sound understanding of the Fountain Head gold and Hayes Creek zinc-gold-silver projects, and the right experience and drive to guide the development of both projects into production.”
Wilson has worked in Africa, central and Western Australia in copper, uranium, coal, iron ore and numerous open-cut and underground gold mines, including at the Cosmo Gold mine near PNX’s Fountain Head and Hayes Creek projects.
Wealth of experience
He brings a wealth of operational, mine planning and management experience to the company and this is expected to be invaluable as PNX continues to develop exploration areas into operational mines.
Wilson has experience in project managing, mine site developments from the pre-feasibility stage, through to approvals and construction, and then into production.
