Aeris Resources Ltd (ASX:AIS) non-executive directors Colin Moorhead and Alastair Morrison have shown their faith in the company’s copper-gold strategy with the purchase of shares in on-market transactions.
On March 11, Moorhead acquired 500,000 shares at a total value of $57,450 in an indirect interest, marking his first purchase in the company.
Morrison acquired 528,500 shares on March 11 with a total value of $55,000 in an indirect interest, increasing the total number of securities held in that interest to more than 1.02 million.
Constellation deposit continues to grow
Aeris continues to enhance the copper potential of Constellation discovery within its 100%-owned Tritton tenement package in western NSW with high-grade copper results from six holes of an 11-hole drilling program.
With precious metals also assayed, Constellation will be assessed to provide an additional feed source for the Tritton operations, thus extending project life.
Best results include:
- 2.6 metres at 6.1% copper, 0.99 g/t gold and 11 g/t silver from 246 metres including 1-metre at 10.3% copper, 1.90 g/t gold and 19 g/t silver from 248 metres; and
- 5.85 metres at 4.6% copper, 0.96 g/t gold and 8.4 g/t silver from 200.1 metres including 1.05 metres at 15.8% copper, 2.49 g/t gold and 28.6 g/t silver from 201.7 metres.
The company is also producing gold at the Cracow operations in Queensland.
