Netlinkz Ltd (ASX:NET) has appointed experienced executive Stephen Gibbs to the board as non-executive chairman with effect from today.
Gibbs is the non-executive chairman of ASX-listed Australian Ethical Investment Ltd, which has $5 billion in funds under management and 62,000 clients.
He has more than 30 years of experience as a director and chairman of many companies in industry and funds management, particularly those with a focus on ethical and responsible investing.

Netlinkz managing director and CEO James Tsiolis said: “We are delighted to welcome Stephen Gibbs as non-executive chairman.
“Gibbs’ wealth of experience in board representation and corporate governance will give Netlinkz the additional bandwidth it needs at board level as it moves forward with global expansion”.
From 2000 to 2008 he was chief executive officer of ARIA, the trustee of the CSS, PSS and PSSap superannuation schemes for Commonwealth Government employees.
ARIA (now known as CSC) was and remains one of the largest superannuation schemes in Australia.
Prior to ARIA, Gibbs was CEO of the industry body Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST).
Previous regulatory roles
Previous regulatory roles held by Gibbs include Expert Panel Member Fair Work Commission and a Member of ASX Corporate Governance Council.
He has a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Business Administration and was the only Australian to receive a personal invitation from the then Secretary of the United Nations (UN) to join the steering committee which developed the UN Principles of Responsible Investment (UNPRI).
Company secretary appointment
Netlinkz has also appointed Guy Robertson to company secretary effective from today’s date.
Robertson has replaced Erlyn Dale and Winton Willesee, who have acted as joint secretaries.
The board has thanked Dale and Willesee for their significant contribution to Netlinkz over the last year.
