Induction Healthcare PLC appointment system hits the one million booking mark in just a few months

Induction Booking is providing 'much-needed support for healthcare professionals on the frontline'

Induction Healthcare (LON:INHC) said Induction Booking, an appointment service tailored to the healthcare sector, has passed the one million bookings milestone in just a few months.

The company said the rapid uptake of the platform demonstrated how it “understands the healthcare ecosystem and responds with robust technology that ensures a high standard of clinical safety and information security”.

It has been designed as an easy-to-use digital system that “not only improves the patient experience but also alleviates logistical and operational issues for the NHS in a challenging time”.

Since last October, trusts have deployed Induction Booking to schedule COVID-19 vaccinations for their own staff, while universities have used the platform to support lateral flow tests for students.

Induction joint chief executive, James Balmain, said: "We are humbled to see Induction Booking provide much-needed support for healthcare professionals on the frontline, allowing them to focus their time and resource where it's needed most. It also allows patients to make and manage their hospital appointments easily and effectively.

“With one million bookings and counting, we celebrate this as a shared success."
