Netlinkz Ltd (ASX:NET) and Uni Systems Information Technology have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a partnership based on Netlinkz’s Virtual Secure Network (VSN) patented overlay technology platform that makes connectivity simple, fast and secure.
The companies will cooperate in innovation initiatives and projects in Greece and Europe, including public sector digital transformation challenges, discovering and assessing digitalisation opportunities and incubating integrated solutions for internet of things (IoT), 5G and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and processes using Netlinkz IP.
An IoT Lab is to be established in Greece to become the competence centre for Europe and the wider region.
"Significant opportunity"
Netlinkz executive chairman James Tsiolis said: This agreement is a significant opportunity for Netlinkz, with Uni Systems to position Netlinkz IP at the EU/Greek R&I projects (Horizon Europe) and for Uni Systems to connect Netlinkz to flagship EC projects/Initiatives.
“We look forward to working with Uni Systems in introducing our ground breaking technology to Europe.”
Complement and empower Uni Systems
Uni Systems managing director and BoD chairman Yiannis Loumakis added: “We are very pleased with this new partnership which, based on Netlinkz’s breakthrough technology, will complement and further empower our IoT offering.
“Furthermore, with the creation of the IoT lab at our premises, we will be able to support the launch of a range of innovative services and solutions to the benefit of our clients.”
IoT lab
The companies will build an IoT Lab at Uni Systems premises to incubate IoT vertical solutions based on the VSN.
Uni Systems will manage the Lab to enable and ensure the collaboration with its partners’ ecosystem, including academia, research centres and specialised IT companies providing verticals and SDN related skills, frameworks and components.
The IoT Lab will address digitalisation opportunities, design and demonstrate solutions to be introduced to the Greek and European innovation market place, and be part of the already established Pleiades IoT Innovation Cluster’s designated Lab, led by Uni Systems.
MoU details
The MoU operates for a period of one year from execution, unless mutually agreed otherwise.
Either party may terminate or suspend the MoU for breaches that are not remedied within 30 days or immediately in respect of certain breaches.
