Technology group Induction Healthcare PLC (LON:INHC) has announced two new contracts for its booking system, which will be used to manage COVID-19 lateral flow tests.
The customers are the University of the West of England and South Gloucestershire Council.
The business wins “reflects the expanded use of Induction Booking outside of its core NHS hospital appointment bookings and into local government and academic institution deployment”, the company told investors.
James Balmain, joint-chief executive of Induction, added: "It's a testament to our agile SaaS [software as a service] platform approach that we're able to deploy our solutions within days to adjacent market segments, without compromising our core mission within Health IT.
“It shows the versatility and adaptability of our products and we are pleased that our platforms can be used to help students in their return to normality."
