Proactive Investors tech expert Richard Jeans reveal the week's key themes with the tech sector continuing to lag here in the UK. This is similar in the US with Nasdaq 100 off 3.4% over the week S&P 500 down 1.1%.
This is in the wake of strong outperformance of tech over a prolonged period. Jeans says in the UK, our small cap average is nearly 1% lower with falls outnumbering rises by more than 2 to 1.
The large cap average is a touch higher, but that is due to a strong gain in Micro Focus.
