Iconic Labs adds three more directors to board

Iconic Labs PLC (LSE:ICON has appointed three new non-executive directors onto its newly formed board.

Brendan O'Mahony, a certified accountant and previous partner at EY’s business in Poland, will strengthen the media and technology group’s board, which currently is made up of one executive director, chief executive Sarah Dees, and non-executive director Stephen Birrell.

O'Mahony currently holds a number of different private sector advisory and board roles across industries such as software development and tech.  

He will be joined by investment banker Willem van der Meer and finance, banking and business development specialist David Štybr.

Van der Meer is a partner at Ott Ventures, the Cyprus-based arm of diversified European family office and investment company Ott Partners, which in January revealed it was holder of 5,735,555,554 shares in the company and called for major reforms.

Van der Meer is also the founder of Amsterdams Effectenkantoor (AEK) and founder-CEO of Canada-based Micro Algae. He has held a number of senior advisory positions specializing in mergers and acquisitions.

Štybr is currently CEO of a Prague based family office.
