EcowaterOS is a consortium of partners operating a live dynamic water management system that delivers safe clear water from rivers to wastewater treatment plants using Artificial Intelligence to provide instant alerts from remote sensors direct to stakeholders.
The presentation, which will be delivered in Mandarin, will focus on environmental early warning and emergency response, the company said.
DeepVerge chief executive Gerard Brandon said: “Modern Water Shanghai has proven to be instrumental in the successful turnaround of DeepVerge's recently acquired environmental division.
“The EcowaterOS launch in China expands on the RNS announcement of production orders of Modern Water equipment and reagent to China to address the increase in demand.
“The addition of AI data analytics for identification of pathogens in real-time is being added to all new equipment to be shipped in H2, 2020.
“China is an important market for DeepVerge, and the growing interest received, validates our expertise and the need for our advanced water contamination solutions."
In the last two years, Modern Water has successfully launched two portable analysers, the Microtox FX, and Microtrace PDV, both of which can detect a broad range of water contaminants as well as the presence of specific heavy metals during emergencies.
This is on the back of multiple installations of larger Microtox CTM and OVA units in 5 of the 23 Provinces across China, since 2013.
