Afarak Group PLC (LON:AFRK) has filed an application for permission to appeal against a recent decision by the Helsinki Administrative Court.
The speciality alloys and ferrochrome producer said that the decision by the court not to change the penalty payment imposed on Afarak by FIN-FSA of €1.45mln is not yet legally binding.
The fine was related to the disclosure of inside information and the maintenance of insider lists.
Afarak intends to appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court to reverse the Helsinki Administrative Court’s decision.
