Lithium Australia’s LITCF holders pay unpaid capital raising $83,000

Shareholders paid an amount of 4.99 cents for each LITCF and these have become fully paid shares.

Lithium Australia NL (ASX:LIT) (FRA:3MW) (OTCMKTS:LMMFF) shareholders have paid the remaining balance unpaid on 1,664,583 LITCF partly paid ordinary shares raising $83,063.

The shareholders paid an amount of 4.99 cents for each LITCF.

Around 1,664,583 LITCF partly paid shares have been fully paid and, therefore, have become fully paid ordinary shares.

LITCF shares remain on issue

A total of 119,236,019 LITCF remain on issue.

Statements will be issued shortly to those shareholders who paid all outstanding amounts on their LITCFs.

Lithium Australia requests that ASX change the designation of these 1,664,583 LITCF shares to the ASX code LIT accordingly.

US patent for lithium extraction technology

The company has been granted the US patent for its SiLeach extraction technology, which can produce a range of lithium chemicals, including lithium hydroxide, lithium carbonate and lithium phosphate.

LIT received an ‘Issue Notification’ from the United States Patent and Trademark Office confirming the grant of patent (US 10,883,157 B2) for its application (US 16/076,643).

The patent now provides the company with 17 years of legal protection in the US.
