GR Silver Mining Ltd (CVE:GRSL) (FRA:GPE) (OTCQB:GRSLF) said it has appointed Brenda Dayton as VP Corporate Communications effective March 1, 2021.
The Mexico-focused silver-gold explorer said Dayton will lead the company's internal and external communications functions and will work closely with the senior management team and the board of directors in developing and implementing an investor relations and communications plan focused on advancing its resource development stage projects.

GR Silver said Dayton has “extensive experience within the precious metals mining industry”, adding that before joining the company, she served in a variety of senior investor relations and corporate communications roles, as well as corporate secretary for companies including Sunward Resources and Golden Queen Mining.

The company also announced that, pursuant to its 10% rolling stock option plan and in compliance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange, it has granted incentive stock options to certain consultants and employees to purchase up to 300,000 common shares. These options are exercisable for five years at a price of $0.75 per share. Of these options, 200,000 granted will vest as to one-third on the date of grant, and a further one-third on each of the 1st and 2nd anniversaries of the date of grant.
