Havilah Resources Ltd (ASX:HAV) technical director Chris Giles outlined the company’s large copper resource at the flagship Kalkaroo project in South Australia, which also includes gold, cobalt and rare earths, during this week’s Proactive Copper Webinar.
Kalkaroo boasts an ore reserve of 100.1 million tonnes at 0.89% copper down to about 200 metre depth.
Giles said 90% of the company’s ore reserves were in the proved category, the highest level of certainty.
“This is a major point of difference between Havilah and its junior resource peers.
“Many have got the resources but very few have ore reserves.”
