NQ Minerals expects to receive Green Economy Mark when admitted to London Stock Exchange

The denomination is for companies that derive 50% or more of their total annual revenues from contributions to the global green economy

NQ Minerals PLC (LON:NQMI)(OTCQB:NQMLF) announced that it is expected to qualify for London Stock Exchange's Green Economy Mark at admission.

It is a recognition for companies that derive 50% or more of their total annual revenues from products and services that contribute to the global green economy.

The underlying methodology incorporates the Green Revenues data model developed by FTSE Russell, which helps investors understand the global industrial transition to a green and low carbon economy with consistent, transparent data and indexes.

The base and precious metals producer announced last month that it had submitted a draft prospectus to the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for approval.

The Australian firm is considering applying for admission of its ordinary shares to the Official List of the FCA by way of a Standard Listing and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

It added that the process is ongoing.
