Assura PLC (LON:AGR) has added to its primary care facility pipeline with the acquisition of developer Apollo Capital Projects.
The acquisition increases the immediate and extended development pipeline by an initial eight schemes with an estimated total capital expenditure of £50mln, said the FTSE 250 group.
The current live development scheme at Beaconsfield will also be converted from a forward-fund to in-house development, it added.
Jonathan Murphy, Assura’s chief executive, said: "Following our acquisition of primary care developer GPI in 2019, this is another important step.
"Expanding our offer to the NHS as its partner of choice has never been more vital than it is today.”
