Nexe Innovations (CVE: NEXE) Chief Science Officer Dr. Zak Hudson joined Steve Darling from Proactive with news the company has begun work to create a compostable disposable facemask for use in hospitals and elsewhere. Hudson talks about using their technology to do this and how they plan on leveraging existing collaborations in polymer science, plant-based materials, and municipal composting that was utilized for its NEXE compostable coffee pod. The company is looking to have a prototype by the end of 2021.
