Tyranna Resources halted with exploration results pending from Dragon & Knight project

The company aims to gather necessary field data from exploration, including a comprehensive soil sampling campaign, at the Dragon & Knight Project to develop a maiden drilling campaign.

Tyranna Resources Ltd (ASX:TYX) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX with exploration results pending from the Dragon & Knight Project.

In its application for a trading halt, the company said that it also intended to respond to the ASX’s price and volume query.

The halt will remain in place until the start of normal trading on Friday, February 12, 2021, or when an announcement is released to the market.

Non-executive director purchases

Recently non-executive director Joseph S Pinto demonstrated his confidence in the company by acquiring 605,444 shares and 3.528 million shares respectively in two transactions.

These two on-market purchases have a combined value consideration of $28,935 and take the number of shares Pinto holds in an indirect interest to more than 74 million.

Dragon & Knight exploration

At the end of November, the company started exploration, including a comprehensive soil sampling campaign, at the Dragon & Knight Project in Western Australia to investigate the nickel-copper potential at two priority targets - Lightning Gossan and Bullseye Anomaly.

Tyranna aims to gather necessary field data to aid in developing an inaugural drilling campaign which it proposes to undertake in the first half of 2021.

Before the halt today, shares were as much as 40 per cent higher to 1.1 cents, a new high of more than two years.
