Seeing Machines Limited (LON:SEE) said its driver monitoring system (DMS) software, a key enabler to the General Motors Super Cruise driver assistance feature, is now available in the 2021 Cadillac Escalade.
The computer vision technology firm said the enhanced version of the Super Cruise system in the new Escalade is the first model that will incorporate the Joyson Safety System supplied Driver Attention System, which uses Seeing Machines e-DME software.

The firm has been working with Joyson since 2011 to integrate its software into the Joyson driver attention system for GM, which includes an electronic controller, camera, and integrated Infrared Illuminators in the steering wheel light bar.

The company’s shares jumped 3.2% to 11.8p in early deals on Monday.
