PlantX Life Inc (CSE:VEGA) (OTCQB:PLXTF) (FRA:WNT1) is adding capital markets executive José Abbo to its advisory team, the plant-based company said Wednesday.
Abbo, a former strategist for investment bank Safra Asset Management (Panama), will chair the Vancouver-based company’s advisory group.
According to PlantX, the advisory team will play a significant role in guiding the company’s growth-oriented business strategy.

The newest member of the team has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector and sat on the board of the Panama Savings Fund. A noted speaker and published author, his work has appeared in The Economist and The Wall Street Journal. He has also written two books on investing and securities markets.
Abbo joins a team comprised of seven members, whose experience ranges across the business, marketing and capital markets worlds. As chair, Abbo will bring business development and leadership skills to PlantX to help foster innovation and collaboration across the company, according to a statement.
