Exro Technologies Inc (CVE:EXRO) (OTC:EXROF), a clean technology company developing power control technology for electric motors and batteries, announced Wednesday that in-house testing of its 100 Volt Coil Driver has been completed.
The company integrated its Coil Driver with an electric motor made by Potencia Industrial SA DE CV as part of a collaboration between the companies. Now that in-house testing is complete, the integrated motor has been packed and will ship to Potencia on Friday for additional tests.
The Coil Driver works by expanding the capabilities of powertrains by enabling two separate torque profiles within an electric motor. The controller automatically selects the appropriate configuration in real-time so that power and efficiency are intelligently optimized.

Exro plans to share the Potencia performance results as soon as they are completed in the third quarter of 2021, the company said.
Testing was delayed prior to Christmas, but Exro’s team worked hard to complete the integration and the company said it is looking forward to working alongside the Potencia team who will conduct rigorous testing to ensure operational validation in an electric car application.

Our collaboration with Potencia remains strong and we will continue to make this project deliverable a priority in the months ahead.”
