New VolitionRx CFO Terig Hughes is the former CFO of biotechnology company AUM Biosciences Pte. Ltd, while the new company CCO Gael Forterre is the former CEO of Ucroo Incorporated, and COO Dr. Gaetan Michel has been with Volition almost seven years and is currently serving as CEO of Belgian Volition.
VolitionRx’s new CTO Dr. Mark Eccleston is expected to aid in the deployment of Volition's proprietary Nu.Q platform, by identifying and reviewing new and innovative infrastructures.
“After 10 years with Volition, it is still tremendously rewarding working on such a cutting-edge technology,” Dr. Eccleston commented.
He added: “Nu.Q not only has the potential to help diagnose cancer, but potentially many other serious conditions. I look forward to this new role where I can play a key part in evaluation and sourcing the technology platforms that can assist with a range of Nu.Q product launches.”
Nu.Q is a routine blood test to screen for blood, colorectal, lung and prostate cancers, which is expected to reduce the need for more invasive colonoscopies and biopsies.
The company is also developing the technology as a screening tool for endometriosis and for veterinary uses as well.
