Pacton Gold Inc (CVE:PAC) (OTCPINK:PACXF) (FRA:2NKM) said it now has new priority targets for the current 10,000 metre (m) drill program at its Red Lake project in Ontario after a seismic survey was carried out by its neighbour PureGold Mining Inc (CVE:PGM).
The 2D seismic survey included 13 kilometres (km) of line data over Pacton's claims, and has enhanced targets at the historic Carricona trenches on Pacton's project, the firm said. Pure Gold is now preparing for a 3D seismic survey to follow up, which is expected to include 94 line km over Pacton's property.

"The 2D survey results targeting the PureGold mine property and 13 line km of Pacton's Red Lake project are very encouraging, as is PureGold's decision to begin preparation to follow up with a 3D survey including 94 line km over Pacton's claims," noted Nav Dhaliwal, the interim president and CEO at Pacton in a statement.
"We now have a number of new, priority targets for our current drill program, and we are working with PureGold to assist with permitting the additional survey."
As reported last summer, the 2D survey was aimed at defining extensions of mineralization to support exploration and resource expansion at PureGold's flagship mine, where first gold was poured on December 29 last year.
