According to Investopedia, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in Germany, is one of the largest and most efficient trading facilities in the world. It is the largest of the seven stock exchanges in Germany and the twelfth largest stock exchange in the world by market cap. Its owner is Deutsche Borse, which owns the other German exchanges as well.
In a statement, Alain Ghiai, CEO of GlobeX Data commented: "We are very pleased to have our securities listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, a world-class global exchange. As GlobeX Data has its roots in Switzerland and all its customers' data are stored in Switzerland, a large portion of its pre-IPO shareholders are also based in Switzerland and the European Union.
"By having our securities listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, we are now able to tap into the vast network of our shareholders and contacts in various financial institutions, both in Switzerland and throughout Europe, and tell our story. The listing now makes it easier for European Union and Swiss investors to purchase our securities as it eliminates an extra hurdle to pass through an intermediary bank in Canada to own our shares. The listing also increases the liquidity and visibility of our securities from retail and institutional investors in the region."
GlobeX's Data privacy solutions are all hosted in Switzerland, protecting users' data from any outside data intrusion requests. In Switzerland, the right to privacy is guaranteed in article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution. The Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) of June 19, 1992, (in force since 1993) has set up a strict protection of privacy by prohibiting virtually any processing of personal data which is not expressly authorized by the data subjects. The protection is subject to the authority of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Under Swiss federal law, it is a crime to publish information based on leaked "secret official discussions." In 2010 the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland found that IP addresses are personal information and that under Swiss privacy laws they may not be used to track Internet usage without the knowledge of the individuals involved.
