Anglo Asian Mining PLC (LON:AAZ), the gold producer focussed on Azerbaijan, is to pay a special dividend of US$0.015 per share in respect of the year ended December 31, 2020.
The dividend will be paid on March 11, 2021.
The dividend will be payable in pounds sterling and will be converted using the average of the sterling closing mid-price exchange rate published by the Bank of England at 4.00pm GMT each day from February 15 to 19, 2021, the five working days prior to the record date.
"I am delighted to announce the declaration of a special dividend in respect of 2020 of US$0.015 per ordinary share,” said chief executive Reza Vaziri in a statement. “The company executed on its plans in the last quarter of 2020 and, helped by good metal prices, delivered the expected strong cash generation.”
