Predictmedix making progress in showcasing its screening solutions; set for public event in New York

The group has developed an innovative platform using artificial intelligence (AI)

Predictmedix Inc (CSE:PMED) (OTCQB:PMEDF), the screening technology-focused company, has made significant progress in showcasing its solution and gearing up sales efforts, it told investors in a corporate update on Monday.

The group has developed an innovative platform using artificial intelligence (AI) to collect data, which can identify if someone is under the influence of cannabis or alcohol, but also if someone has an infectious disease such as coronavirus (COVID-19).

Notably, the firm says its AI algorithms in the system can be adapted to allow for mutations of the virus.

Predictmedix has now successfully deployed its technologies for beta testing with major partners in North America and Asia, including Fortune 500 firm India Oil, MGM Hospital COVID-19 ward (one of the largest COVID-19 hospitals in Mumbai, India) and water company Flow Water Inc, it noted.

It added that prospective clients in the US are particularly interested in a solution which can detect metal as well as infectious disease symptoms.

Predictmedix and marketing company Juiceworks are currently working with one of the largest metal detector manufacturers in North America to design such a solution.

Predictmedix has also struck a letter of intent (LOI) with one of the largest North American business consulting firms over business development initiatives and a definitive sales agreement, it added.

It is currently also under discussions with major corporations to start cannabis and alcohol impairment testing pilots in North America, while marketing and sales efforts have been ramped up to identify beta partners targeting strategic sectors in North America.

The company's Safe Entry Station will be showcased in a live event on January 26 this year in New York City at Wellness4Humanity's flagship location at 225 West 34th Street near Pennsylvania Station.
