Nomad owns a portfolio of 14 royalty, stream and gold loan assets, of which six are currently producing.
The company also updated shareholders on a handful of its assets:
- Robertson, a Barrick Gold asset that is part of its Cortez operation, is expected to begin production in 2025. Nomad owns a sliding scale 1 to 2.25% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on all claims that form part of the Robertson property;
- Operations are ramping up at Blyvoor, with a technical report containing a mineral resource expected in the first half of 2021. Nomad owns a 10% gold stream on the Blyvoor gold mine on the first 160,000 oz of gold production within a calendar year, and 5% on any additional gold production within the calendar year;
- Mercedes was recently acquired by Equinox Gold, which will become the operator after its takeover of Premier Gold Mines. Nomad owns a 100% silver stream on the silver production from the Mercedes Mine and 100% on the silver production from the South Arturo Mine attributable to Premier (40% attribution), until a total of 3.75 million ounces of refined silver have been delivered, after which the stream percentage reduces to 30%;
- A preliminary feasibility study on South Arturo outlined an 18-year mine life based on a mineral resource estimate that included Nomad-attributable reserves of 1.9 million ounces of silver (3.8 million tons at 15.23 grams per ton);
- Northern Vertex has expanded its drilling program at Moss, where Nomad owns a 1-3% royalty; and
- Troilus Gold reported encouraging results from the Southwest Zone, where Nomad owns a 1% NSR on the property.
