Proactive analyst Richard Jeans talks through the week's top tech news, a strong week for UK tech stocks which have been boosted by a spate of broadly positive January trading updates.
He says large cap software and services average is up by 3.4% and small caps software average is up 1.8% while the FTSE 100 is down 1%. There is a similar trend in the US, with the tech heavy Nasdaq-100 up 4.6% over the week so far which is twice the S&P 500 gain.
