PlantX Life Inc (CSE:VEGA) (OTCQB:PLTXF) is adding meal programs to its current in-home meal delivery services, the group said on Tuesday.
The new option includes a subscription-based “set and forget” option for up to five full days of nutritionally-balanced meals.
Vancouver-based PlantX is partnering with food company Upmeals to deliver the meals from Upmeals’ HAACP-certified production facility. The meals are developed by registered dietician Amy Gensel, who will join PlantX’s board of directors.

PlantX told shareholders that the meals will be a simple way to incorporate healthy and nutritious meals into its community.
"We couldn't be happier to have Amy on the Medical Advisory Board and helping us curate the meal programs,” PlantX CEO Julia Frank said in a statement.
“We're committed to educating the public about healthy living, and this is another step in the journey. PlantX is focused on creating the ultimate customer experience that provides customers with flexibility for their food delivery options.”
Frank added that PlantX meals will still be able to be ordered à la carte, but customers will now have the option to pre-order in three- or five-day quantities.
“This enhanced meal delivery service provides freedom from the hassle of cooking and meal-preparation,” she said.
New board member Gensel said she was “excited” to help curate healthy, plant-based meals for PlantX customers: "True fitness and health begins with what we put in our bodies."
The meal programs will initially be Canada-only, but the company said it is hoping to expand its services to the US market later this year.
Separately, PlantX said it had struck an investor relations agreement with Northern Equities Inc for a three-month term at an aggregate cost of C$80,000, to be paid in shares of PlantX.
