Horizon Minerals Ltd (ASX:HRZ) has laid out a plan for future gold production in the Kalgoorlie region of WA, including at the Cannon Underground Gold Project, detailing the steps that will be required to achieve the all-important milestones.

The roadmap focuses on four main areas – the development of the Cannon and Pennys Find underground mines, development of the Kalpini open pit and both short-term development and feasibility studies at the Boorara project.

“Horizon has a large resource endowment that we are working towards development and bringing cashflow into the business in this record gold price environment,” Horizon Minerals CEO Grant Haywood said.

“We have worked diligently on progressing negotiations and approvals for our projects to provide a sequence of development assets with the aim to be in sustainable gold production.

Horizon Minerals Ltd (ASX:HRZ) has begun reconnaissance and early-stage work to increase understanding of its newly acquired lithium projects near Bridgetown and Coolgardie in Western Australia. 

Horizon CEO Grant Haywood said: “Although very early days at both our Yarmany East and Greenbushes Lithium projects, it is pleasing to have begun reconnaissance and early-stage work to increase our understanding in these areas in preparation for future drill test programs, particularly at Yarmany East where we have previously identified approximately 14 kilometres of strike of unexplored lithium anomalies. In parallel, the company is also considering potential strategic options for our emerging lithium assets.”

Horizon Minerals Ltd (ASX:HRZ) plans to merge with fellow ASX-listed gold company Greenstone Resources Ltd (ASX:GSR) to create a new emerging producer in the Kalgoorlie-Coolgardie region of Western Australia’s Goldfields.

The combined group would have a global JORC mineral resource of around 1.8 million ounces as well as an enviable exploration holding centred on the gold mining hubs of Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie.

Horizon Minerals Ltd (ASX:HRZ) latest round of exploration drilling has confirmed the growth potential of its broader Boorara Gold Project area in Western Australia’s Goldfields.

The emerging producer has just completed its first-pass campaign over the 10-kilometre Boorara-Golden Ridge corridor as part of an extensive 50,000-metre exploration program across the company’s 1,100-square kilometre portfolio.

Horizon Minerals Ltd (ASX:HRZ) CEO Grant Haywood tells Proactive new lithium exploration targets have been generated at the company’s 100% tenure in the Goldfields region - west and southeast of Kalgoorlie. Soil sampling and auger programs at Yarmany East have highlighted an unexplored 14-kilometre-long trend of semi contiguous lithium and pathfinder anomalies up to 300 metres wide. He says they have now appointed Argonaut PCF to assist with a review of the company’s strategic options for its lithium rights.
