Silver Range Resources announces the completion of soil geochemical surveys at its Sniper project in Nevada

The company said peak soil responses in gold and silver were 82.8 ppb gold and 1.35 ppm silver, noting that the mineralization is similar to that of Gold Point

Silver Range Resources Ltd (CVE:SNG) (OTCMKTS:SLRRF) (FRA:8SR) reported that it has advanced its Sniper gold-silver project in Nevada with the completion of soil geochemical surveys.

The company said peak soil responses in gold and silver were 82.8 parts per billion (ppb) gold and 1.35 ppm silver, respectively, while rock sampling to date has returned assays from separate grab samples of up to 121 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 1,375 g/t silver.

It added that it identified a large soil anomaly in gold, silver and arsenic located along the inferred contact between Jurassic Sylvania Pluton granodiorite and an overlying roof pendant of Precambrian Wyman Formation carbonates and siltstone.

Silver Range noted that a total of 153 soil samples and six grab samples were collected during the survey conducted in September over the claims and surrounding area at the Sniper Property, approximately 10 km south of Gold Point in the Tokop Mining District.

The company said eight of 20 rock samples collected on the property to date have returned analyses greater than 5 g/t gold, with one chip sample assaying 0.40 metres (m) of 46.3 g/t gold.

Silver Range also noted that the mineralization at Sniper consists of mesothermal, ribbon-quartz veins up to 40 cm thick exposed intermittently over several tens of metres in bulldozer trenches, which it said is similar in style and setting to that of Gold Point, currently being explored by GGL Resources Corp (CVE:GGL) and at Tokop, currently being explored by Riley Gold Corp (CVE:RLYG).

More information, including a short video presentation describing recent results, can be found on Silver Range's website: www.silverrangeresources.com/projects/nevada/sniper/.

Silver Range Resources is a precious metals prospect generator that has assembled a portfolio of 43 properties, nine of which are currently under option to others, located in the mining-friendly, gold and silver-rich jurisdictions of Nevada, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and Yukon.

The Sniper property is a high-grade gold and silver prospect south of Gold Point on the northwest flank of Gold Mountain in Esmeralda County, Nevada.

The property, which was last worked during the 1980s, covers historic adits now obliterated by bulldozer excavation, including a small open pit.
