Ready Set Gold set to debut its shares on the Canadian Securities Exchange on January 11

The junior has around 7,000 hectares of property in Ontario in its portfolio, including the highly prospective Northshore project in the Schrieber-Hemlo Greenstone Belt

Ready Set Gold Corp (CSE:RDY) is set to start trading its shares on the Canadian Securities Exchange on Monday January 11, it told shareholders Wednesday.

The Toronto-based junior exploration company received final approval from the CSE to list its shares and will trade under the ticker symbol RDY.

Ready Set Gold has around 7,000 hectares of property in Ontario in its portfolio, including the highly prospective Northshore project in the Schrieber-Hemlo Greenstone Belt. Northshore holds one of the province’s largest undeveloped gold deposits, which contains a historic NI 43-101 resource estimate of 391,000 gold ounces grading 1 gram per ton (g/t) in the indicated category and 824,000 ounces at 0.9 g/t in the inferred category.

The company also owns the Hemlo Eastern Flank property that borders a project recently optioned by Barrick Gold and the Emmons Peak project in the prospective Wabigoon Terrane of Ontario.

Ready Set Gold plans to debut with a low share float of 29.8 million shares outstanding and 37.1 million fully diluted shares, according to a release.

CEO Christian Scovenna called the move a “significant milestone” for the company.

“Building shareholder value, is one of the company’s mandates and will do so by building out our deposit on our flagship, Northshore gold project,” Scovenna said in a statement.

“I would like to thank our shareholders/owners in trusting the company in our vision to acquire the Northshore, Hemlo Eastern Flank project, and the optioned Emmons Peak project in our plan to become a leader in exploration and development in Canada’s prolific and world-class gold-bearing greenstone belts. Our company is well positioned to begin advancing its highly prospective Ontario gold projects.”
