Lithoquest Diamonds Inc (CVE:LDI) said its directors had approved a change in the company's name to Lithoquest Resources Inc with no change to its trading symbol.
Effective from market open on Tuesday, November 24, this year, the company's shares will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the new name.
In late July, the group said it had placed its North Kimberley Diamond project on care and maintenance until financing conditions improve in the diamond industry, and that it was actively reviewing other mineral projects.
The objective is to secure, through acquisition or joint venture, one or more projects that offer significant discovery potential, the group said, with preference being given to projects located in stable jurisdictions, containing gold and copper, however, other mineral commodities are also being considered.
