QUIZ PLC (LON:QUIZ) said it has closed more stores from today until December after eleven local authority areas in Scotland implemented stricter lockdown rules.
The occasionwear retailer now has 53 stores and 128 concessions closed in England, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland, while another 11 shops and 26 concessions in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales remain open.

The sites in England and the Republic of Ireland are expected to reopen on December 2 while those in Scotland will resume trading on December 11 if restrictions are not extended.
The AIM-listed firm has placed all the store and concession staff on furlough and continues to trade from its online platform.
Last month, the fashion designer admitted that increased sales in the casual ranges were not making up for losses in occasionwear revenues despite boosting its offering.
The group has been struggling during the coronavirus pandemic because it's offering traditionally caters to big events such as weddings.
