“Strong endorsement”
Emyria managing director Dr Michael Winlo said: “Dr Washer is a respected executive, leader and investor and his most recent purchase of additional shares is a strong endorsement of our team, our work and our future potential.
“Emyria is fortunate to be backed by a great board on our quest to bring innovative new treatments to patients sooner while also delivering value for our shareholders.”
“Emyria is ahead of the pack”
Dr Washer said he believed it was an exciting and transformational period for Emyria as medicine was evolving rapidly with digital health but there was a constant need for new, safe and effective treatments.
He said: “Emyria is ahead of the pack in treating patients who have been sick for a long time and are not getting better with current care.
“We do this by using innovative treatments, like cannabinoids, and by using digital health technologies.
“Emyria can monitor patients, collect evidence and contribute to improving these new treatments.
“I’m highly optimistic about the path ahead for Emyria, and look forward to rolling out our products and technologies globally into 2021.”
